Application Process 

Part 1 : Selection Criteria  To qualify as a beneficiary of the programme, the following basic criteria must be met:

• Underserved women entrepreneurs who manage their own businesses in Gauteng
• Minimum of a matric qualification
• Good understanding of English
• Business to have an annual turnover of R300,000 to R5million and show excellent growth potential
• The entrepreneur must have run/managed the business for at least a year
• Businesses who employ at least five people with be given preference
• Entrepreneur must be prepared to comply with the measurement requirements of the programme

PART 3: SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES TO BE CONTACTED FOR PANEL INTERVIEWS

After the application screening process, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a panel interview.  Interviews are conducted over three days at the GIBS campus in Illovo and failure to attend the interview will result in disqualification. Panel interviews will be conducted in JUNE/JULY 2012. 


Part 4: Confirmed participants will be notified and the commitment fee must be paid

Upon confirmation, candidates will be required to pay the fee of R3,000 (three thousand rand) in order to be accepted into the programme.  This fee will be forfeited if the participant leaves the programme for any reason, or does not attend 90% of the classroom sessions.
