Application process
As part of your application, you will be required to submit a completed application form which can be found online. The deadline for applications is 17 February 2012.
There is a R500 application attached to your application. This will cover the cost of the application and the numeracy test.Details required for your application include:

- Academic qualifications
- Career history
- Financing method
- Details around your exposure to Finance
As part of the admission procedure, prospective students will need to complete an entrance test. This test will focus on your ability to deal with numbers. Should you not be successful in this test, your application will be unsuccessful. The dates for this test are as follows:
* 07 November 2011
* 28 November 2011
* 16 January 2012
* 06 February 2012
* 27 February 2012

All tests run from 08:30 - 09:00.
In order for your booking to be confirmed, proof of R500 application fee needs to be submitted.
In order to be considered, your application form and supporting documentation must reach GIBS by no later than the closing date. Please note that an application will not be considered if any of the information required is missing.
GIBS follows a rolling admission procedure. Once the class is full, applicants who qualify will be placed on a waiting list for the next intake of students. You are therefore requested to apply timeously to secure your place on the programme.
If you have been offered a place on the Certificate in Finance, which you do not wish to accept, kindly inform us in writing as soon as possible.
(Note: Delegates need to ensure that permission is granted by their companies to attend the programme before applying.)
